It is hardly I secret that I like Bond films, even if I haven’t been yet to watch the new one. I found the last few ones that Brosnan did a wee bit boring. They were more like cheap science fiction. But in Casino Royal we saw the action coming back to centre of the stage, replacing the technological frenzy of previous releases. There is still no competition for the classic Bond played by Connery or even Moore, but Craig is certainly doing well.
Anyhow, this post is not on Bond flims, but rather on the song from the latest: Another Way To Die. Sang by two of the sexiest stars of the pop-rock stage , Jack White y Alicia Keys, it was written and produced by the former, who is rising to the status of a great musician of our times. (He is the leader of the White Stripes and of The Raconteurs, a group that, of you haven’t listen to, I would encourage you to do so)
As for gossips, the tune for the new Bond film was going to be sang by our dear Amy Winehouse, but after her latest attempt to leave London without any drugs took her to rehab, the guys from MGM decided that maybe she shouldn’t after all. Once she regained self-consciousness, she said that she would release the song she had written nonetheless. We’re still waiting.
