Hullo! welcome to our wee site!
This blog doesn’t have a define purpose or a very clear general topic. We, Rubén and Álvaro, simply write – and invite people to write- about stuff we find interesting and that we would like to share with you. In order to reach as many people as possible, since we are both expats, we decided to start publishing in English too. Originally we intended to have a bilingual site with everything published twofold, but after a while we saw this wasn’t a very useful approach. For one thing, we don’t have all that time to devote to writing, for another, our English audience is quite limited. Hence, we started including an English text in the original post.
Most of the times, it is a translation of the Spanish text, other times we offer a summarised version, either because we didn’t have time to translate the whole thing, or maybe because it is not very relevant to English speakers. For longer articles we will still post a separte version in English, but you’ll always find a clear link to it in the main page. All posts that include an English text are filed under the ‘English’ category for your convenience. So enjoy! and leave us a comment if you like the site :)
