Oasis lead singer Liam Gallagher confirmed his status as rock’s most inventive insult artist at Monday’s Q Awards by incessantly mocking one of his favorite targets, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. “Knobhead! Come on, have a pop. You’re a plant pot,” heckled Gallagher, before flatly dismissing Coldplay as “wankers.” Gallagher has previously said Martin “looks like a geography teacher,” while referring to Coldplay as a “bunch of students.” For what it’s worth, Oasis won two Qs at the ceremony, including best album, while Coldplay picked up an award for best act in the world today.
