Esto es parte de la carta introductoria con la que el Presidente George W. Bush abre la Estrategia para la Seguridad Nacional de los Estados Unidos de América 2006
Es importante analizar los dos pilares sobre los que dice sustentarse: “The first pillar is promoting freedom, justice, and human dignity“; y por otro lado: “The second pillar of the strategy is confronting the challenges of our time by leading a growing community of democracies.”
¿Qué opinais de esos pilares?
¿Promoting freedom, justice and human dignity significa para los negros y los hispános también?
¿Leading a growing community of democracies o leading un crecimiento nacional en favor de la Globalización?
lo que no entiendo es qué derecho tienen a ejercer ninguna influencia en ningún sitio. es una forma abierta y declarada, confesa, de colonialismo. va en contra del derecho de autodeterminación de los pueblos, pues presupone que el único modelo de govierno deseable es la democracia al estilo occidental.
Me parece prepotente y carente de todo espíritu democrático. Cómo puede alguien a quien tanto se le llena la boca con la DEMOCRACIA decir que quiere ‘shape de world, fight abroad’, cuando a él sólo le votan en USA? qué derecho divino tiene el pueblo estadounidense para tener derecho a votar a un presidente que decide más allá de sus fronteras?
¿Y la ONU?
